Kids will find creative confidence as they bring their ideas to life and navigate the adventure of starting their very own businesses.

Alongside new friends and with guidance from professional mentors, kids will learn skills like sketching, prototypingstorytelling, business basics, and design thinking - a true 21st century skill!


It's a fast paced camp filled with games, markets, pitches, and lots of fun!

Week 2: July 23-27

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm

Location: General Assembly, 600 Congress Ave. (easy drop off and pick up available

Cost: $395 per student per week

Age: 9-12 years old

Who is leading the camp?

Kaley Coffield

Kaley Coffield is a teacher of ten years and founder of Design Juniors and Austin Learnshop. She is a graduate of Austin Center for Design and puts Design Thinking methodology into action every day. 


What makes this camp special?

Design thinking is a true 21st Century skill.

This methodology is embedded throughout the two week camp, and gives kids a powerful set of skills to use inside and outside the classroom.

Amber Wakem

Amber is the founder of Start-Up! Kids Club and has led multiple kids through the process of creating their own businesses. Her daughter, Harper, continues to be the beacon of inspiration which drives Amber to rethink the way we approach education.

Plus tons of professional entrepreneurs and designers will be guest staring throughout the week to teach and mentor the kids!

*Scholarships available, please email us to learn more.

* Lunch: Students should bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.

* Class sizes are small, with 8-15 students per session, and at least 2 instructors at any given time.

*Student MUST complete week one prior to enrolling in week two!
