What better way to spend your time than at the SKC Makers + Create Space in FREE TIME--creating? During this unstructured time, students are able to dabble, experiment, and explore the various mediums and technologies we have at The SKC House, as well as seek one on one mentorship and support. 

HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Examples of how students can use Maker Time: 

  • Create and experiment 

  • Learn a new skill 

  • Finish up 3D printing or laser-cutting projects project 

  • Design gifts or inventory

  • Get one on one coaching and mentorship 

  • Or, simply craft their heart out. 

Be the boss of your time and get to making yourself whatever it is you want to be. What are you waiting for?

*Each session is good for 20 minutes of mentorship and 60 minutes of unstructured space use; additional time is available for $10 an hour. Bulk discounts are available for multi-day use.

**Students are required to adhere to space rules and be respectful to staff and others. Any student who can not adhere will be asked to leave.* 

All technology and resources will be provided with registration.  Students are encouraged to bring a snack and a water bottle.

Cancellation Policy

As a 501(c)(3) offering donation-based programming, any money received is tax deductible and thus, nonrefundable. We're happy to credit any unused programming funds towards future participation or scholarships for other students.
